We are only 2 miles from major Parkways. The Southern State Parkway merges with the Cross Island Parkway which goes up to and past the Long Island Expressway ( L.I.E.) and Grand Central Parkways. The Cross Island Parkway can lead to the Throgs Neck and Whitestone Bridges. The Southern State Parkway also links up to the Belt Parkway which heads past Kennedy Airport and Brooklyn on it's way to the Verizano Bridge and further North. Staten Island and NJ. are just a short distance.

The Southern State Parkway also merges with the Meadowbrook Parkway ,Wantaugh Parkway, Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway or the Sagatos Parkway.
These Parkways go North and South and can lead to the Long Island Expressway and Northern State Parkways. The L.I.E. and Northern.State Pky are direct routes to Lincoln and Holland Tunnels and New York City or to Huntington, Riverhead, PortJefferson, and the Hamptons.

By car the Silva Dance Academy is very accessible and by the time you talk to your friends or listen to some Ballroom music you'll be at our Front Door!

Public Transportation is a great way to come to our studio. You can just sit back and listen to some of you favorite ballroom & Latin music or have a light snack before you dance. The Long Island Rockville Centre Train Station is so close that we could put a ramp from our windows to the station platform.
It's on the Babylon line and travels from Penn Station to Babylon. It only takes about 35 minutes from Penn Station in N.Y.C. Once your in the City you can use the Subways, go to Grand Central Station or even Amtrak. Then you can link up to the whole Tri-State area or even further.

Just outside the Rockville Centre Train Station is The Metro Transit Bus Station. This service connects with all the immediate towns. Baldwin, Freeport, Lynbrook Valley Stream etc. You can also go to Jamacia a major hub to connect to other services. There's even the J.F.K. flyer which goes to Kennedy airport for about $1.50. and - That's a Great Price!
